About me
I am an aspiring researcher with a strong passion for mental health advocacy. I am interested in the area of addictive psychology, particularly understanding the neuroscience behind addictive behaviours. Following this, I have worked in addictive services for four years and have two years of research experience.
I have lived, studied and worked in the UK for about five years. Throughout my stay, I have learned and interacted with many individuals from different cultures and backgrounds; this has significantly inspired my motivation to pursue my specialisation focusing on addictive psychology in marginalised populations.
I am currently in the process of applying to graduate school in the US. Changing countries and building a social life from scratch is always a little daunting, but I love to push myself out of my comfort zone and explore new places. Feel free to connect with me if you have had similar experiences!
Apart from academics, I hold a diploma in Odissi, love books and want to be a cat mom.
